After the Second World War, the population of North America exploded and then the cities expanded.Many young families started to buy their first homes and had the money to renovate. They don't just want to be different from traditional styles, they also want to be very practical, because there is a lot of demand, so they want quality furniture that can be produced quickly, so the lines of mid-century modern are very simple And tough, then ergonomic, the overall design is generally open, then feels spacious and bright.
One of the main style is the mix and match new materials. In terms of materials, not only a lot of natural materials were used, but also at the time of the birth of new technological materials, furniture made of non-traditional materials was also used, such as metal glass and plastic.
